Majili -A film to watch

Majili Telugu film is engaging, especially the post-interval part.

Majili – Cast and Crew

Majili is a Sports cum romantic film. Directed by shiva nirvana, produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi. Once again, another film that brought the real-life pair together on-screen.  Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni play as the lead couple. This film was released on April 5th, 2019. Divyansha Kaushik also has a role in leading the story. Rao Ramesh, Subba Raju and Atul Kulkarni did a brilliant job in their character roles.

Duo

Chaitanya and Samantha had earlier acted together. Earlier films that they were cast together were Manam, Autonagar Surya and Ye Maaya Chesave. Not In order of release date.

Majili Telugu film

Majili film has a mix of little stories and scenes from Nagarjuna’s earlier films. Samantha acting was brilliant. The story brilliantly brings to the fore how a girl next door, literally has unconditional love. The main lead had a failed relationship and continues to dwell in the past. He literally puts an end to his sports career. Director Shiva deftly handles the plot and takes the narration ahead.

Story

The neighbours who are friends get married. But all is not well between them. One can hardly say if it is bad or terrible. This is where I thought it was portrayed real and sensitively. How circumstances lead the hero to his former lover’s daughter is a twist to this tale. He discovers his passion for the game while training this girl child. In the process, finds his wife support him completely. It brings about a change in him that forms the crux of the second half of the film. The film concludes with him recognising and uncovering his wife’s true love.

The best film reviewer on south Indian cinemas Sangeetha Devi had described the nuances of this film so beautifully. Each time I concur. Year after year I share the cinema magic with her.
